Almost only counts in horseshoes... or something like that.  But what about rattlesnakes?  We almost stepped on a rattlesnake.  Rosco almost got bitten by a rattlesnake.  We almost lost Sharon to a rattlesnake.  I almost employed Chris' technique of carefully moving the rattlesnake.  Bruce came along and rescued us not almost but actually.
