Let It Snow!

It is the most amazing experience to be up in the mountains when it is snowing. And when it has been snowing and every single leaf in the canopy is covered in snow. When you look up, the sun is shining and bouncing off every snowflake. Sharon says it feels like you are inside a snowglobe. The air is chilly and fresh and there is something in it that makes you giggle. And if you don't have a camera with you it will all seem like a dream.

A New Attitude

Its already March of 2012. There hasn't been much rain, the days are getting longer and we have to rise earlier to get a parking spot. However, we remain enthusiastic and optimistic! This past Sunday we visited with Chris and Joan on our way out of the canyon. Chris has been working on a new map of the canyon which is finally finished and is really a beauty! Next, he's going to cover Griffith Park with a particular interest in the crime and general mysterious ongoings which have taken place there over the years. We are looking forward with particular interest in Chris' new work! The Cosmic Cafe opens soon and we plan to haul ourselves up the Wilson Trail to have a hot dog for the new season. See you there!
