In Memoriam
Thank you, my darling, for a very special fifteen years.

Ufer's passing saddens me. Such a sweet and friendly dog. She was like the activities director on our hike in March. She set the pace and the pecking order:
Carolyn - pack leader, Sharon and Ufer - Co-lieutenants and me, the lowest member of the pack, last. She was a great hiking companion. Ufer will be missed.
This is the season. A childhood friend just lost her dog Moose and emailed an 'in memoriam' just an hour ago. Our 17-1/2 year old Rascal is struggling. We are in old-timer's intensive care with her and wonder how much pain from crippling arthritis she has. She's lost most mobility in her hind legs, and rarely can get up. Everything else works well though. Caring and quality of life for her and our feelings about family... It's tough times right now for dog lovers.

I'm sorry to hear this and I am sad. I hope you both are doing OK, it's tough when a true friend and family member is gone.
