Ya Gotta Get Out There

This past Sunday Sharon and I took on eighteen fabulous (and butt-lifting) miles through the Angeles. It was fantastic! We got to the trailhead by 6:30am and watched the sun rise as we started our loop. I believe it was one of the most beautiful mornings on the trail. We passed a few groups of mountain bikers and it was reasurring to know there are some polite bikers out there that will actually let hikers pass instead of just running them over. We finished up about six+ hours later and I don't know about Sharon but I slept the rest of the day. It was a marvelous way to start 2006!
